I Am His Karma is researched, written, and maintained by a domestic violence survivor.
I survived more than twenty years of domestic violence, coercive control, physical abuse, financial harm, housing instability, and post-separation abuse.
I am now building I Am His Karma, a chronological public archive created from years of preserved communications, records, photographs, artwork, legal documents, and contemporaneous evidence. Its purpose is to document what happened, examine how abuse operates over time, and expose the institutional failures that can leave survivors and their children without meaningful protection.
This is not simply a personal story. It is the preservation of a record that could otherwise be minimized, distorted, or erased.
I research, scan, organize, redact, transcribe, write, fact-check, publish, and maintain this archive myself. I am doing that work while raising two teenagers, managing serious health conditions, and trying to rebuild our financial and physical stability without a reliable family safety net.

Why I Am Asking
Survivors are often told to document everything and speak the truth. What is rarely acknowledged is the enormous amount of unpaid labor required to preserve, organize, contextualize, and publish that truth while still surviving its consequences.
A one-time or recurring contribution gives me something abuse and institutional abandonment have repeatedly taken away: time, stability, and the ability to continue.
