Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use apply to iamhiskarma.com and its public and paid content.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
About I Am His Karma
I Am His Karma is a survivor-led personal archive. It preserves evidence, documents lived experience, publishes essays and photography, and provides contextual analysis concerning domestic violence, coercive control, betrayal, family life, institutional response, healing, creativity, and rebuilding.
I Am His Karma is not a registered nonprofit organization, law firm, medical provider, counseling service, government agency, or news organization.
Age and Content
You must be at least 13 years old to use the general website. Pages marked 18+, explicit, or adults only may be accessed only by people who are at least 18 years old.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors’ internet use.
Informational and Editorial Purpose
Website content is provided for documentation, commentary, criticism, education, creative expression, and general informational purposes.
Nothing on this website constitutes legal, medical, mental-health, financial, or other professional advice. Accessing the website does not create an attorney-client, therapist-client, fiduciary, confidential, or other professional relationship.
Nature of the Archive
This website combines first-person testimony, preserved source material, public records, photographs, essays, analysis, and opinion.
The archive is updated as information is reviewed and contextualized. Although reasonable efforts are made to preserve and describe material accurately, the archive may be incomplete, developing, or subject to later correction.
An allegation, arrest, criminal charge, or pending proceeding is not a finding of guilt. Official findings and rulings are identified as such when included.
Copyright and Ownership
Unless otherwise stated, the site author retains rights in the original writing, photography, research, page design, selection, arrangement, annotations, descriptions, and compilation of the archive.
Copyright in third-party materials remains with the applicable rights holder. Artwork identified as being created by Kyle Evan Morgan or Old Sick Dead remains attributed to him. Its presence on this website does not transfer ownership or imply endorsement of the archive.
Third-party materials may be displayed or quoted for purposes that include documentation, criticism, commentary, research, scholarship, or historical context. Each use must be evaluated under applicable law.
You may share links to public pages and quote brief portions with clear attribution and a link to the original page.
Without written permission, you may not:

Circumvent paywalls, account restrictions, access controls, or technical protections
Ordinary search indexing and limited automated access for discovery and citation may be permitted when consistent with the website’s published robots.txt and LLMS.txt files.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be restricted, including lawful fair use.

Contributions
Contributions made through the Donate page are personal gifts supporting the archive and the family stability required to continue the work.
I Am His Karma is not a registered nonprofit organization. Contributions are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.
A contribution does not purchase editorial control, influence over what is published, access to private evidence, private communication, personal access to the site operator or family, or any ownership interest in the archive.
One-time contributions are generally final. If a transaction was duplicated, unauthorized, or made in error, submit a request promptly through the Contact page. Refund requests will be reviewed individually and granted when required by law or considered appropriate under the circumstances.
Recurring Contributions
If you select a recurring contribution, you authorize the displayed amount to be charged according to the frequency shown during checkout until canceled.
You may manage or cancel recurring contributions through your Squarespace customer account. You may also request assistance through the Contact page.
Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund previous contributions. Refunding a previous contribution does not automatically cancel future renewals.
Paid Archive Access
A separate expanded paid archive may become available in the future. The price, billing frequency, included material, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be disclosed before payment information is submitted.
Paid access provides access only to the published material included in the selected plan. It does not provide:
Personal access to the site operator or family
Access to unpublished or unredacted private records
Ownership of archive content
Permission to redistribute or republish content
Influence over editorial decisions
A professional or confidential relationship
Accounts and access credentials are personal and may not be shared, transferred, resold, or made publicly available.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, cancellation ends future renewal charges. Access may continue until the end of the paid billing period. Refunds for digital access are not guaranteed except when required by law or when a duplicate, unauthorized, or erroneous charge is confirmed.
Terms displayed during checkout control if they conflict with this general section.
Links and Third-Party Services
The website may link to external websites or use services operated by third parties. I Am His Karma does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security, or policies.
A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
Availability and Changes
The website may be updated, reorganized, restricted, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Individual pages or materials may be corrected, redacted, moved, or removed.
Continuous or error-free access is not guaranteed.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, suitability for a particular purpose, or freedom from error.
Nothing in this section limits rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I Am His Karma and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access to or reliance on the website, third-party links, service interruptions, or unauthorized use of website content.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
Use of the website is also governed by the Privacy Policy:

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute that may lawfully be required to proceed in a particular court will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in Multnomah County, Oregon, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Severability
If any portion of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining portions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be revised as the website and its services develop. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
