Context
This April 26, 2016 Apple Messages/iChat transcript spans nearly the entire day, from 12:43 AM through 10:42 PM.
Much of the record documents ordinary logistics: moving boxes, meeting in parking lots, arrival updates, and coordinating when I would be home. Later that evening, after telling Kyle I had been having a difficult day, I raised a relationship issue directly:
“Please don't threaten me again.”
I followed that with:
“It hurts our relationship.”
and:
“If you don't want to stay with me...just address the issue.”
Kyle responded:
“Ok”
I then wrote:
“We need to work on our relationship.”
Kyle replied:
“I agree”
The transcript does not preserve the earlier statement or conduct I was referring to as a threat. Accordingly, this entry documents my contemporaneous report that I had been threatened, rather than treating the April 26 transcript itself as proof of the underlying threat.

Throughout the Day: Movement and Arrival Updates
The transcript contains repeated updates about where I was and when I would arrive.
Shortly after midnight, I wrote:
“Going around the block”
and later:
“Back!!!”
“Checking my mail box”
In the morning:
“Be there in a sec”
That afternoon:
“Be there at 4!!!”
“Here!!!”
And that evening:
“Pulling I'm around be there in a sec”
followed by a correction:
“That was supposed to say pulling around be there in a sec”
These messages are preserved as another example of the routine location and arrival communication present throughout this period.
Evening Distress
At 9:55 PM, I wrote:
“Today sucks”
“I'm going to park and cry for a while”
“Be home later”
Kyle asked what had happened and whether I was okay. He later wrote:
“Talk to me I'm worried”
“I love you”
“Drive safe”
I told him:
“I've been bullied all fucking day”
and:
“Nobody could possibly understand the shit I endure on the daily.”
“Please Don’t Threaten Me Again”
At 10:08 PM, I changed the subject:
“I am just going to say this.”
“Please don't threaten me again.”
“Just saying.”
“It hurts our relationship.”
I then wrote:
“If you don't want to stay with me...just address the issue.”
“Sound good?”
Kyle answered:
“Ok”
A few minutes later:
Me: “We need to work on our relationship.”
Kyle: “I agree”
Me: “Ok well let me know your ideas if you come up with any.”
Kyle: “I'm on it I'll figure things out”
This sequence is significant because the concern about being threatened appears inside the contemporaneous relationship record, rather than only as a later recollection.
At the same time, the archive should not overstate what it proves. The transcript does not identify the exact threat I was referencing, and Kyle's “Ok” should not be characterized as a specific admission to making one.
Return to Ordinary Affection
Less than half an hour later, the conversation returned to ordinary household communication.
I asked Kyle to adjust the air conditioning because I had been cold the previous night.
He responded:
“Absolutely my love”
and later sent a kiss emoji after telling me he had raised the temperature.
The sequence ends with me saying:
“Thank you!”
That shift is worth preserving. Within the same communication record, relationship distress and a direct request concerning threats are followed by affectionate, ordinary domestic interaction.
Analysis
April 26 is an important transition point in this sequence.
The record does not show an overtly hostile argument between Kyle and me on this date. Instead, it documents me explicitly telling him that I believed he had threatened me and that it was damaging our relationship.
It also documents an immediate effort to repair the relationship. I asked that we work on it. Kyle agreed. By the end of the evening, the communication had returned to affectionate domestic conversation.
The archive preserves all of those elements together rather than isolating only the most alarming sentence.
Archive Note
This artifact contains a contemporaneous report by me that Kyle had threatened me. The underlying threat is not independently captured within this April 26 transcript, so the entry does not characterize the statement as independent proof that a particular threat occurred.
The transcript also documents routine whereabouts and arrival updates, emotional distress, relationship-repair efforts, and affectionate communication.
